a Week in the life of an indie game developer
Instead of one topic at a time I thought I'd make one video showing progress every day of the week.
This week working on a 16Bit video game, a top down adventure much in the vein of the Super nintendo and Megadrive classics such as "a Link to the Past" and "Final Fantasy I-VI"
Lots of time was spent working on my own pixel art. While working out game mechanics I stuck to the animations and tiles supplied by the Cobracode Udemy course. Now, I feel I have progressed far enough to make a game of my own and that starts with designing the first area you get to explore at the start of the game.
